The MPI Spine seminar will teach you how to deal specifically with the palpation and adjustment set-ups needed for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac regions. The MPI Spine course will cover spinal biomechanics and manipulation, along with the motion palpation scan and case management.
The course will cover soft tissue treatment methods for many common pathologies. We will cover a variety of powerful protocols: manual myofascial work, tool-assisted, compression band, distraction band, active stretching with manual over- pressure, etc. We will also cover good home exercises to help manage these conditions. To make application of the information into practice more seamless, we will cover areas of the body as they pertain to common pathologies. I want to go back and forth between short lectures and lab to keep people focused and interested.
The purpose of this program is to prepare chiropractors to perform appropriate dynamic palpation assessments of spinal joints and surrounding soft tissues as part of a thorough examination. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of the palpatory findings and how to correlate this information with other historical and examination data. Treatment options in the form of diversified adjustive procedures, soft tissue treatment techniques and low-tech rehabilitation will be discussed and demonstrated.
The purpose of this seminar is to discuss joint assessment, manipulation, treatment, soft tissue treatment and dynamic neuromuscular stabilization approaches utilized for the lumbar spine and pelvis. There are four practical, hands-on sessions that include discussion, assessment and demonstration of the applicable techniques. There is also a 2 hour lecture on how diet, stress, and lack of sleep can promote chronic inflammation and pain, which can negatively impact treatment of lumbar spine conditions and sports injuries.
